About Beach Haven

Bring the whole gang and enjoy breathtaking views of a quiet beach at our oceanfront Beach Haven house. With 2 complete living spaces under one roof, it's the perfect place for a family reunion, multi-generational group, or good friends traveling together.

Built on 2 lots, Beach Haven is truly private, with plenty of yard space on 3 sides and nothing but the undergrowth, dunes, and sand on the fourth! Boasting ground-floor patios and 2nd storey wraparound decks, our home is ideal for folks who like plenty of separate spaces to talk, play, and enjoy the unique beauty of Palm Coast. There's even a loft hideaway with 2 single beds, just waiting to become the kids' clubhouse!

Each of the 2 floors in this house contains a kitchen and living area plus 3 bedrooms, so it's easy to divide the space into separate quarters if desired. The main kitchen is on the second floor, which also offers the best ocean views. But there is space for everyone and views aplenty in our homey wood-paneled house!

The second-story main deck will amaze you, meandering around corners and offering lovely views in 3 directions. (There is also a private balcony from the master bedroom!) This is likely to be the place you'll remember most about Beach Haven, with its casual dining and seating and spectacular vistas. Hear the waves crash and the seabirds call, and inhale that refreshing sea breeze! If you make it out to the deck early enough, you'll even have front-row seating for the sunrise, which is an unforgettable sight.

Going indoors from the main deck, you enter the living room, a high-ceilinged marvel of a space with a giant brand-new HDTV, comfortably cushioned rattan furniture, and plenty of floor space for those late-night karaoke performances and raucous charades! The ocean views from this room are incredible through the double set of sliding glass doors!

You'll never want to stir from the living room, but the troops must be fed, and our kitchen makes it bearable with ocean views above the sink! The tile floor feels good on hot "beach feet" too, and the blond cabinetry and white appliances lighten the room still further. Prowl around the cupboards and you'll find enough cookware, utensils, dishes, and gadgets to prepare and serve just about anything -- we've got everything you need down to the last corkscrew and water glass! Of course, if you're on a strict restaurant and take-out diet this vacation, the microwave is great at re-heating!

The dining room on the second floor has a big table and plenty of chairs, but unless it's raining outdoors, you may find it deserted in favor of the deck. Instead, it's often turned into a computer and game center, with teens updating their Facebook status ("The sand here is the color of cinnamon!"), parents checking the opening times of the next sightseeing attraction on their laptop (you have free wireless Internet at Beach Haven), and little ones coloring or lining up the shells they've collected on the beach. This area also contains the stairs up to the loft (bedroom #7).

The second-story master bedroom is a delight, with an ultra-comfy king-sized bed, TV, en suite bathroom, and view of the ocean through a huge picture window. One of the 4 full bathrooms in our house is attached to this room, meaning you have no reason to leave the suite until you absolutely must go down to the beach!

The second floor contains another bedroom with a king-sized bed, this one with a private ocean balcony. The third bedroom contains a snug queen-sized bed & the 2nd floor living room includes a queen sofa sleeper. The 3rd floor loft counts a bedroom #7 with 2 single beds.

The 1st floor is impressive as well, with a sizeable kitchenette, a family room containing a new HDTV & a queen-sized sleeper sofa, 2 bedrooms (one with a king & queen & a private patio with ocean view, the other with a queen & a single!), and 1 bedroom with a double bed. Beds for 14 altogether at Beach Haven, & 2 bathrooms on each floor!

Our wide, almost deserted beach is your personal paradise.

Stunning Sunrises

The house is in a beautiful location, situated just a couple of hundred steps to the ocean. The ocean view from the deck is incredible-perfect to watch the sunrise and dolphins in the morning. We had 6 families--19 people--ranging from 9 months to 70 years and we had plenty of room--lot of space to spend time together as a group, but also enough space to 'retreat' for some privacy. We never felt like we were on top of each other. There were built-in child safety gates available for each staircase, which was nice for the peace of mind of the parents. The house had ample dishes, cutlery, cooking utensils, towels, bedding.

Based on previous reviews, we knew this would be an older house. Dated, would be a good way to describe it. For the most part, everything (appliances, lighting, etc) functioned properly and the house was clean, however some of the repair work was a bit "stick and tape." Things like black electrical tape around chandelier, pink Hello Kitty Bandaid on the sliding glass door, bungee cord holding leg of the outdoor table together, folded paper keeping dining table from wobbling). If you can overlook aesthetics, then the house serves the purpose well. The beach itself was gorgeous, clean and uncrowded. Vacation Rental Pros was a pleasure to work with.

We had to change houses 3x within the 48 hour perieds due to logistical issues, and they were very helpful through the entire process. (They even send an email during the vacation with a reminder for garbage day). Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and we had a great time. I would likely book this house again for a future stay.

Lovely beach home, excellent, quiet location
Quiet beach house on a dead end road - no traffic, quiet beaches. Gorgeous views of the beach, you can hear the waves all day! We filled the house to the max - some of the beds had sand in the sheets (maybe they were washed with beach towels?). We're a very tidy bunch - so we felt the need to sweep and redo some beds. But - overall, great beach getaway.

Families unite
My boyfriend and I invited all our children and grandchildren to the beach over Spring Break. There were 13 of us. The house is an older home, very eclectic and mostly comfortable. The upstairs den, kitchen and dining area is small for 13 people but we made it work. The showers in a couple of the bathrooms were TINY!!! We had to use the showers in the main bathroom upstairs and the master downstairs. The large yard is beautiful and we saw a large turtle 2 days of our visit. The downstairs is dark and very dated so all spent time upstairs except for sleeping. Overall it was a great trip and if we came with fewer people, we may consider renting this house again.

Good Family Reunion spot
Excellent location - near historical, scenic, & tourist things + a GOOD Publix! Best part is the ocean almost in your front yard. Next best is the large grassy yard for the teens to toss footballs - (beats TV) when not swimming. The "basement" served its purpose, but the main(upper) floor was very homey and pleasant - especially the outdoor deck for A.M. sunrises etc. Thanks for a good beach week!

Great location and spacious home
We loved this home we all had a great time here. The house is big and we had 3 families here at same time and it was very comfortable and we were able to cook on Christmas. Everyone loved that it was right on the ocean and we were able to take walks and kids played on the sand.

Daughter's Wedding / Vacation
The rental of this property allowed our family stay in the same place for my daughter's wedding. This made the event even more meaningful since we have not all been together at the same time for several years. The location was wonderful. The staff responsive to any requests. Several of my family members came up to me and said that we HAVE to do this again. Could not ask for a better rental experience.

Great location but needs some TLC.
We had a large family vacation, our first family vacation ever actually. My family was not very pleased with the house due to a major pest control issue. Aside from that, it's a great location! Great ocean views! We were actually offered to move to a new location due to my family not being pleased with the house. The 2nd house was amazing. Moving to a new house on our vacation put a damper on the day since we spend the day moving houses. I would hope not to have to go through that again! The beach was beautiful so it made up for the inconvenience!

Beach Haven
My husband and I were married on the beach in Palm Coast. We needed a house that would be big enough to hold his family and mine and Beach Haven was the perfect size! We were able to house both of our families in the 7 bedrooms. The loft with two twin beds was LOVED by the children. There are a lot of steps with wide railings in this home which made the parents of small children very nervous, but the house was supplied with many baby gates. The location was perfect. There were hardly any other families on the beach; so we had our own private beach for the week. There were plenty of linens and dishes stocked in the home. After reading some negativity on precious reviews, we still chose to rent this home. After staying at Beach Haven, I agree with previous renters that the home does need a little work; however, the repairs were mostly cosmetic. We are not hard to please so they didn't effect our stay. The deck was a little questionable in some areas and there is some wear on the exterior of the home. There are no electrical outlets on the deck, but we were able to run an extension cord to the kitchen. Because it was so close to the beach, we encountered several unwelcomed guests such as ants, spiders, and a snake! the realtors were contacted to remove the snake and they were very prompt in addressing our needs, even after hours! I only mention the "negatives" to be of help to others, but my family and I had a wonderful time in this house and would absolutely return to this house for another vacation!

Family Dream vacation of a lifetime!!
We loved our family vacation on the ocean! We got to see dolphins, shells and we even saw a baby sand shark that drifted to shore! Our Grandkids were thrilled!
It would be nice if you could offer a discount to returning renters! Thank you for sharing your property!

great posibilities
I would not recommend this property unless there was some serious cleaning and up dating done to the house. It needs some work. We had a great time anyway and the beach is the best.

Property needs work
Overall, we had a very good time and the property met our needs. The problem here is the property has been neglected and needs work. For instance: There is a big time problem with pest control, there's no electrical outlets on the deck, the grill is falling apart, there are parts of the deck that need fixing, the kitchen sinks are tiny, cobwebs in the rafters, etc. But perhaps the worst offense is that we counted only ONE smoke detector in the entire three-story premise. And that one smoke detector was disconnected with no battery. This is all a shame because the property is in a great location and has a lot of potential.

Palm Coast review
Place had not been cleaned! Property is in rough shape. Lights were out, door handles falling off. A shame because the location is superb and the house has a good layout for a large group.

Could Be So Much Better
Beach Haven was just what we needed for my family and my sister's to vacation together. However, the house needs major repair work - doors to balconies could not be opened easily - nor were the balconies safe to use. Debbie's deluge caused major leaks in one bathroom and in the downstairs den, which flooded twice - once, ankle deep. At our request, the sliding glass doors to one downstairs bedroom were boarded up because of wind noise. Spider webs were evident both inside and out - and their occupants didn't hesitate to visit with us. The table on the deck was held together with a bungee cord.

The negatives being said, let me point out the positives. First, the property management company responded quickly to our calls about the leaks and an electrical problem caused by the storm. They offered to move us to a different location due to the problems we had faced. We chose to stay. Why??? We had plenty of room in the bedrooms for our possessions and for privacy when needed. The second floor kitchen was big enough for us to cook together while the downstairs kitchen gave us extra storage room. We could spread out so that having six children ranging in age from 13 years to 8 months did not get on any one's nerves. Multiple TV's allowed the children to watch what they wanted and the adults to do the same. The walk to the beach and the beach itself were outstanding. It was almost like our own private beach area. We loved relaxing on the deck listening to the waves break - both before and after Debbie passed over us. Two turtles came to munch in the backyard every afternoon and were a delight to watch. With a little TLC, this house could be AWESOME.

Family week in Florida
The size of the house and the location can't be beat. The private beach was a great surprise. What a beautiful house it once was. There are so many things that need repair. The roof leaks in upstairs bath, and laundry room (had to put pots on the floor to catch rain). The master bedroom only had a lamp and sconces that worked. Our TV, ceiling fan, and lamp did not work. The management company was quick to respond when the A/C stopped, but would look for another place if we return to the area.

Fantastic beach with good accommodations
Overall a great vacation. Beautiful quiet beach in natural setting, a rarity in Florida these days. The house was roomy and comfortable. A little run down, but to management's credit they are making efforts to fix the problems. A minor annoyance was the work taking place during our stay. We would definitely consider again for our annual family reunion.

A week in paradise
The beach haven house was perfect! The private beach, the location, the rooms everything was perfect! I would love to stay there again! I would recommend Vacation Rental Pros to everyone. Thank you.

Whereas we found the property dirty, the company remedied the situation. As others have stated, the property is dated, electrical updates are desperately needed, etc.

That being said, the property is located in a beautiful place, not a tourist trap but close to them and a LOT of privacy on the beach. We were not crowded at all, either in the home (with three families) or on the beach.

If we had not found the property dirty, it would have had a big impact on our feelings throughout the stay but like I said, the company remedied it to our satisfaction.

Spring break in Palm Coast.
Had a great week at the beach with the family during our annually spring break trip to Florida. The location of this rental is great but the property is old and in need of a lot of repair and updating.
